May is Meant for Food Events!

Wow there is so much good food stuff going on this month it's a little crazy.  I could list them all but that would take all day so here are my top picks of the month.

Madison Square Eats- Probably one of one my favorite food events since it's right by my apartment. MSE is a month long block of set up food shops right outside the park.  The old standby's will be there again this year- Roberta's Pizza, Calexico & Asiadog to name a few...but also some newcomers including two Brooklyn favorites Mile End and Mayhem & Stout.  I absolutely cannot wait to try out some meat sandwiches from these guys.

Ninth Avenue Internationl Food Festival-  Ninth Avenue absolutely comes alive with tons of kebobs, toastadas, drumsticks and of course the giant chair.  This event is best experienced with the aid of many beers.  So go early, grab a table and set up shop.

Taste of Tribeca-  actually the same day as the Ninth Avenue fest this event brings together some of the best chefs in the area to support the arts and enrichment programs at the local schools.  You can expect lots of fun family attractions and of wonderful food plus free wine tastings all throughout the Tribeca wine stores.  Unfortunately I won't be going this year because I'll be over in Brooklyn at...

The Great Googa Mooga!!!  Food, drinks and music all day long! The line up is incredible!  Doe or Dine and Dumont Burger are on the top of my hit list to try out.  Although I plan on eating my way through absolutely everything.  I really can't think of a better way to spend the weekend.
