And We're Off!

Watch out London and Paris here we come. Mr. T and I are heading out for our honeymoon and I have high hopes it will be filled with delicious food and drink. I did some research and planning (although not nearly as much as I wanted too damn work gets I the way) so hopefully we can see and do everything we can. So far our food/drink itinerary is as follows:

London
Dinners (confirmed w/ Reservations)- J. Sheekeys, St. John, The Bull and Last
Hopeful Food Stops
The Wolsey and National Arts Club for breakfast, lunch at the Corner Room, fish and chips at the Golden Hind, cupcakes and wine at Fortnum Mason, beers at Southampton Arms and Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Pub.

Paris(Confirmed w/ Reservation) Dinner at Frenchie, Lunch at La Bigarrade
Hopeful Food Stops
Dinner at Les Fines Gueules, Steak Frites at L’Entrecote, Bread from Poilane, Crepes at Breizh CafĂ©, all sorts of fabulous sweet treats from Pierre Herme, Laduree, Hugo & Victor, Sadaharu Aoki. Croissants, Steak Tartare, funky cheeses and fabulous wine…That pretty much sums it up for me!

Of course we’ll fit in some culture between all the eating but isn’t that part of culture as well? If anyone has ideas on something we “Must” do that I didn’t mention please let me know. Kathy over at A Passion For Food emailed me a fabulous list which is going to help tremendously and The Sweet Life by David Lebowitz is also going to serve as quite a guide in Paris as well. Thank goodness London and Paris are walking cities. We’re going to need it to balance out all the eating we will be doing.

I actually have a back log of posts that I'll be releasing throughout the week so hopefully once I get back I'll be all caught up and can start fresh with food pictures of the trip. However I will be tweeting over the vacation so if you want to see what we're up to in Europe feel free to follow me @tastytrekker. Au Revior!
