Lamarca is our neighborhood Italian joint. The small no frills space has inviting tables and a nice front opening for enjoying the warm spring breeze. Each entrée comes with a salad to start. This might not seem like much but there are hardly any Italian joints in the city that give you free salad. They also send out a nice and warm crusty roll. The other night we were there Mr. T went for an old should plate of Manicotti. I wasn’t feeling as hungry so I just stuck with the Eggplant Rollatini appetizer. The wines by the glass were extremely reasonable and service is always quick and efficient. It’s a great little joint to have in the hood.
