La Rondine Pizza

Let's talk about some Queens Pizza for a moment. I was working out in Kew Gardens the other day and craving a slice and stumbled across this little pizza joint La Rondine.

This place is tiny but their pizza looked pretty good. Couple that with some serious friendly service from the guys behind the counter and I was sold- One slice of Pepperoni please.

My first thought when I got back with my slice was wow that's a lot of oil! I usually don't have pepperoni and the extra oil coming off of that reminded me why. I had to use napkins to take a bunch off but after that it was really quite great.

The pizza was nice, thin and foldable. The crust had a nice char on back and crispy edges. I checked out some of their other pizza's and the toppings look really fresh. Not a bad place to check out if your in the neighborhood.
